"Refresh" Youth Worship Service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Clinton First PH Church located at 403 Academy St., Clinton, SC, beginning at 5:00 p.m. We will begin with pizza, then a praise and worship service to follow. The cost forthe eventis $5 per person.

We are in for a great time and special treat as Bishop Ray Boggs will be the guest speaker. This is an awesome time of praise and worship, ministry in the Word, and fun together as the youth of the Upper South Carolina Conference. Plan to be with us on Saturday, November 12 as we get "Refreshed" together in the Lord!!

In one month, November 17-20, your support for our Men's Ministries Golf Outing will be used to train IPHC Men's leaders in the nation of Haiti. Thank God for your investment in men!!!

This is an exciting year for Royal Rangers in the IPHC! In 2011 we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary for Royal Rangers in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Upper South Carolina Conference!  We are excited to have reached this benchmark in this outstanding ministry to our boys.  We have an exciting and special Camporama planned for this year as well as other activities to commemorate this special celebration.

Part of the ministry of Royal Rangers is dependent upon the chartering of local outposts.  When you charter your local outpost, you are helping the Conference Royal Rangers with funds necessary to help plan conference-wide events for all of our Royal Rangers Outposts.  If you have not chartered your outpost yet this year, please send that charter information and dues in to the Conference Royal Rangers today.  Charter forms are available on the Conference Royal Rangers web page.  We want you to be chartered as an Official Outpost of Royal Rangers.  If you need any more information, you may contact our Conference Commander Jody LeCroy at josephlecroy@bellsouth.net or call the Conference Discipleship Ministries office at 864.243.2420.

Rev. Don McKellar, retired USCC Minister, called today with a wonderful praise report. Brother Don went to Duke University Medical Center yesterday to meet with his doctors, and they could not find any trace of cancer in his body!! Praise the Lord for this wonderful report of His healing power!

Brother Don wanted to thank everyone for their prayers, and to give glory to God for His mighty touch. We rejoice with Him in God's blessings!!

The ministry of Disaster Relief USA (DRUSA) requires staying ready and prepared in the event of a disaster.  The 2011 training will focus on an overview of the Mobile Feeding Kitchen, safety and food preparation.  The need for more individuals and teams to work on the kitchen is critical.  With the Mobile Feeding Kitchen serving as our primary first response in a disaster, it is imperative that we provide this training on March 18 - 19, 2011 at the Cornerstone Conference Center north of Greensboro, North Carolina.

Directions... Cornerstone Conference and Resource Center is located on Hwy 29 North, just outside of Greensboro, North Carolina.  The closest airport to the Cornerstone Conference is Greensboro High Point Piedmont Triad Int'l (GSO).  The Raleigh/Durham Airport (RDU) is approximately 1 hour to the conference center.

Included in this email is the schedule and registration form.  Attendees will be housed in conference facilities.  Rev. Bill Terry's administrative assistant Sherrie Taylor will handle all room assignments.  If you have questions, she can be reached at staylor@iphc.org or (405) 787-7110 ext. 3224.

Remember. . . Registration and housing is handled through the DRUSA office.  Please direct all "Special Requests" to Sherrie prior to arriving at Greensboro, NC.

 As you are looking at your calendar for 2011, we wanted to remind you about the Discipleship Ministries National Awards for Excellence.  These awards are given for Royal Ranger Commander of the Year, Youth Pastor of the Year, Children's Pastor of the Year, and Karl Bunckley Sunday School Teacher of Year.

This is a great opportunity to honor the people who sacrifice and prepare on a weekly basis to work with our children, youth, Royal Rangers and even adults.  Without them, we would not be making disciples of Christ.

On the national level, each of these awards is worth $500 to the individual and $500 to their church!  All of the forms are included below – Purpose & Procedures, Questionnaire, Local, Conference and National Nomination Forms, and the Award Amounts.  The deadlines are as follows:

Local (individual nominations to the local DM Director or pastor) – by March 15th
Conference (church nominees turned in to the conference) – by May 1st
National (Conference nominees mailed to the national office) – by June 15th

Dr. Conrad Lowe, is one of the foremost consultants for churches in the USA. He has served as senior pastor of a mega church, executive pastor to four mega churches, and national consultant to four denominations, including the Pentecostal Holiness and Church of God.

Bishop Chris Thompson, a graduate of HBC, serves as Executive Director of Evangelism USA in Oklahoma City. Before being elected to head EVUSA, he was superintendent of the NC Conference of the IPHC.

Dr. Terry Tramel, serves as the Dean of the Graduate School at Southwestern Christian University. He has served as pastor, evangelist, and Bible professor. He is the author of the book “The Beauty of the Balance” based on his doctrinal dissertation at ATS. Dr. Tramel is an outstanding preacher.

Greetings to you from the IPHC Centennial Celebration in Falcon, NC! This is the Day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it! Karen and I are praying for each of you as you enjoy the presence of the Lord today.

This is a milestone event in the history of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church as we celebrate the 100 year anniversary since the merger of the Fire-Baptized Holiness Church and the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Each service is being streamed over the internet live. You can watch these services by visiting this link. There is a complete broadcast schedule of the Centennial Celebration here. Through the use of online streaming, you can be a part of the celebration even if you cannot be present in Falcon.

Also I want to give you one last final reminder about our Upper South Carolina Conference Chapel Service tomorrow. The chapel service will be held at Beech Springs Tabernacle at the corner of Hwy 25 and Hwy 247 in Ware Place, SC. The service will be tomorrow, Tuesday, February 1 at 10:00 a.m. and will feature a time of worship, preaching of the Word, and intercessory prayer. This chapel service is open to everyone in the Conference! Make your plans now to come and be a part of this conference-wide chapel service as we exalt His name together.

Also, in this chapel service we will celebrate and partake of communion together. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us as the family of the Upper South Carolina Conference to receive of the Lord's Supper. We will also feature a time of special prayer for all of the ministers and pastors that will be attending the Pastor's School in Phoenix, AZ in February. Make a special effort to be a part of this special day!

We are in need of volunteers for the 2011 Royal Rangers Camporama from our men to work with Men's Ministries preparing meals on the feeding kitchen for the boys during the event.  The dates for the Camporama are July 12-16, 2011 at the Cornerstone Conference Campgrounds on Hwy 29, north of Greensboro, NC.  To volunteer, please email Rev.
